About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Driller to join our team based in Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our offshore operations and be a key player in maintaining our drilling equipment and performing essential tasks.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct drilling, boring, and digging activities according to established procedures.
– Install well screens, casings, and other well fixtures.
– Perform routine maintenance on drilling rigs and equipment.
– Install, test, maintain, and repair pumps.
– Conduct pumping tests to assess well performance.
– Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices.
Requirements:
– Previous drilling experience is essential.
– High school education or equivalent.
– Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, bending, – crouching, and kneeling.
– Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
– Ability to work outdoors in noisy and offshore environments.
Additional Skills:
– Completion of a training course in the absence of 2 years of experience.
