About the Role:
We are seeking an Assistant Crane Operator to join our oil rig team in Norway. This pivotal role involves the safe operation and daily maintenance of cranes, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. As an Assistant Crane Operator, you will also provide support to Roustabouts and assist with helicopter operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and perform daily maintenance on cranes, prioritizing safety.
– Provide assistance to Roustabouts in their tasks.
– Collaborate in helicopter operations.
– Apply best practices in crane operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
– Prior experience as a Roustabout, with gradual skill development in crane operation, OR previous experience with floating cranes from other industries.
– Comprehensive understanding of crane safety protocols.
– Proficient in medical and safety procedures, including PPO, HMO, and HSA options.
